New Delhi : Sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra said tha he want the investigation against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. On Monday he submitted proof to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) in the alleged water tanker scam. This came a day after Mishra alleged that he saw CM Arvind Kejriwal taking Rs 2 crore from health minister Satyendra Jain, a charge denied by the Aam Aadmi Party.
Mishra, who was sacked on Saturday night, for “mismanagement in water supply”, claimed that a conspiracy was hatched against him because of the alleged Rs 400-crore water tanker scandal in the Delhi government. Though the AAP put up a brave face and defended Kejriwal, the BJP and the Congress demanded the CM’s resignation.
Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal, who rose from being an anti-corruption crusader to Delhi chief minister, became the target of a graft charge on Sunday as his former water minister, Kapil Mishra, accused him of accepting Rs 2 crore from a cabinet colleague
AAP on Monday refuted all the allegations levelled by sacked Delhi Water Minister Kapil Mishra saying, he was speaking Bhartiya Janata Party’s (BJP) language.
Addressing to media, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that the allegations made by Kapil Mishra were completely ‘baseless’.
