Janjivan Bureau / New Delhi : Sacked Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra who has levelled corruption allegations against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was on Wednesday heckled in the assembly.
Mishra was marshalled out of Delhi Assembly after a scuffle broke between him and other Aam Aadmi Party MLAs.
The assembly, which had convened to discuss the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill, was disrupted after a group of AAP legislators collectively attacked Mishra and one of them even attempted to strangle him. Members of opposition parties intervened to rescue Mishra, resulting in a scuffle between the two groups.
Delhi Assembly speaker Ram Niwas Goel can be heard asking Marshals to take Mishra out of the house.
“This is not the way to behave… Koi maar peet nahi ho rahi,” said Goel to Mishra.
Moments after the high drama in the assembly, Kapil Mishra was marshalled out and said that he was attacked by AAP members who were enraged at his allegations of corrupion against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and other party leaders.
