Janjivan Bureau / Chandigarh : The controversial film ‘Padmaavat’ was released in various cinema halls across Haryana on Thursday.
Around 80 per cent occupancy was reported in OHM Cine Garden multiplex in Sirsa in the first show.
Multiplex sources said the occupancy was quite high considering it was a morning show on a working day. Sources attributed this to the hype created by the Karni Sena.
Meanwhile, a Haryana Roadways bus was set afire by unidentified elements at Hisar bus stand on Wednesday night. The bus belonging to Yamunanagar depot was parked near the entrance of the bus stand.
