Mumbai : The results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2015 was declared on Thursday. According to the statistics released by IIT-Bombay, 26, 456 candidates qualified for admission to IITs and NITs. Satvat Jagwani from Satna, Madhya Pradesh topped the exam scoring 469 out of 504.
The All India Rank (AIR) and Category Rank for JEE (Advanced) 2015 is available online on the official webiste jeeadv.iitb.ac.in.
Interestingly enough, several of the high rank holders were from Indore. This included Krati Tiwari (all-India rank 47), who came in first among girls as well as Shantanu Dubey, who topped in the open-PWD (persons with disabilities) category. Chinmaya Kumar Sahoo, Prakar Kumar Mahobia and Dabbodi Uday Kumar were among the other differently-abled students who topped across categories. Of those who qualified, 23,407 were male and 3,049 female.
