Janjivan Bureau / New Delhi : 24th Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award will be given to Gopalkrishna Gandhi for his outstanding contribution towards the promotion of communal harmony, peace and goodwill.It carries a citation and cash Award of Rs.10.00 lakh.
Congress senior leader Moti lal Bora said the Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award is given on the occasion of the birthday of Rajiv Gandhi. It was instituted to commemorate the lasting contribution made by him to promote peace, communal harmony and fight against violence. He said award will be presented to Gopalkrishna Gandhi at a special ceremony on 20th August, 2018.
