Bhopal : The Congress has given a call for state bandh on July 16. The BJP women’s wing will hold pro-government programmes day before the Congress bandh on July 15 to expose the Congress misinformation in Vyapam scam. Forced on the back foot by the Vyapam scam and the Supreme Court’s order to transfer the ongoing investigation to the CBI, the ruling BJP announced that the women’s wing would take to the streets to expose the “misinformation campaign” launched by the Congress.
The decision was announced the day RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat shared the stage with Chouhan in Bhopal. The Congress has given a call for state bandh on July 16. The BJP women’s wing will hold pro-government programmes on July 15.
Congress attacked on Shivraj Singh Chouhan not only on street also in High court to Supreme Court in this matter. On the plea of Congress General Seceretary Digvijay Singh, SC gave the order of CBI investigation.
Due to Congress attack now BJP try to save the face. BJP state chief Nandkumar Chouhan said that the party workers would go to people to tell them the truth behind Vyapam by sharing High Court and Supreme Court orders which he insisted showed the state in good light.
The campaign over unnatural deaths of people linked to the scam was baseless and false. “Only racketeers and middlemen are behind bars, not students. The number of deaths is negligible, and most resulted from heart attack, road accidents and other causes,’’ the BJP chief said and claimed that “Chouhan is as clean as the Ganges.’’
The BJP chief’s claim coincided with the report that a student of Indore’s government medical college, who was an accused in the scam, had died in a road mishap in 2011 but his death has not been accounted.
The BJP said Bhagwat’s visit had nothing to do with the Vyapam scam and said it had been planned in advance. Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan and a host of state ministers and leaders attended the book launch.
