New Delhi: All the political parties across board hailed the air strikes carried out by the pilots of the Indian Air Force today with the Congress, TMC, NCP, SP and BSP leaders saluting the forces.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi hails the strike and said it is an hour of mourning for all of us and on this solemn occasion we also pay homage to the martyrs of Pulwama attack. At the same time, I extend my sincere compliments to our Pilots of the Air Force.
NC’s Omar Abdullah raised a query regarding the quality of the strike saying if the strike is in Poonch sector along the LoC it is most symbolic.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi Tuesday lauded the pilots of the Indian Air Force after air strikes on Pakistan.
“I salute the pilots of the IAF,” he tweeted.
Gandhi also put out the Indian flag along with his tweet.
The Congress also tweeted, lauding the role of the Indian Air Force in keeping Indians safe with its consistent and determined effort.
“We salute the @IAF_MCC for their consistent & determined effort to keep Indians safe. Jai Hind,” the Congress said on its official Twitter handle.
BSP president Mayawati while welcoming the strikes took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said had the PM taken hard decisions earlier, India would not have had to see Uri, Pathankot and Pulwama attacks and the lives of many jawans would have been saved.
The Left was conspicuous by its silence on the strikes while TMC chief Mamata Banerjee saluted the pilot’s saying IAF also stands for India’s Amazing Fighters.
Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu lauded the Indian Air Force’s strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pak-occupied Kashmir.
“In the war of right & wrong,You can not afford to be neutral, The war against terror outfits is spot on…Bravo Indian Air Force,” Sidhu tweeted.
