Janjivan Bureau / New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return with his monthly radio programme ‘Mann ki Baat’ on June 30.The Prime Minister’s last address to the nation was aired on February 24.
“Mann Ki Baat is back again as PM Narendra Modi assumes office for the second term. Your stories, ideas & suggestions can be a part of this month’s episode, scheduled on June 30, 2019,” Centre’s citizen engagement platform MyGovIndia said in a tweet.
Prasar Bharati News Services also sought suggestions from people for the programme in a tweet.
All India Radio also tweeted: “The wait is over! #MannkiBaat from the people’s Prime Minister is back again”.
Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar asked Twitter to share their ideas and suggestions.
The monthly show made its debut on October 3, 2014, a few months after Modi assumed charge as India’s Prime Minister, and is broadcasted on the last Sunday of every month.
The programme is also aired on private radio channels, Doordarshan and private television news channels and is also livestreamed on the Internet.
The show was discontinued just ahead of the announcement of poll dates by the Election Commission of India and the model code of conduct came into place.
