Janjivan Bureau / New Delhi : A photoshoot by an NIFT student in the middle of a flooded road to show the plight of infrastructure during rains in Patna has gone viral.
However, the Internet is divided over Aditi Singh’s photoshoot. While the shoot has been flayed by many saying that why glorify natural calamity, others says they loved the concept.
Videos and photo were posted by photographer Saurabh Anuraj on his Instagram account and Facebook pages.
The motive was to show the real situation and draw people’s attention so that they come forward to help.
“Splendid work, do not listen to negative comments…U are doing great,” a user wrote.
“What bull**** is this? You’re making fun of the calamity Bihar is facing. Shame on you idiots,” another user wrote.
After many criticised, Saurabh posted clips of a video of how the shoot to show how difficult it was.
“No one ever has the wish to stand on gutter water and pose. Everyone has their own ways of sending out a message to the world,” he noted.
Heavy rains across Bihar have killed at least 28 persons in the last few days.
The Centre said it was ready to provide all possible assistance that may be required in Bihar to tackle the situation
