Janjivan Bureau / New Delhi : The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) released its fourth list of 30 candidates on Thursday with party leader Dushyant Chautala contesting from Uchana Kalan.
Dushyant had contested from the same seat in 2014 but lost to Prem Lata, wife of former Union minister Birender Singh, by a margin of 7,480 votes.
The Assembly elections in Haryana will take place on October 21. The last day for filing nomination is October 4. The final results will be declared on October 24 after counting of votes.
Also on the list is dismissed BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav, who will contest against CM Manohar Lal Khattar from Karnal.
OP Sihag, a long-time associate of Ajay Chautala, will be contesting from Ellenabad against secretary-general of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Abhay Chautala.
So far, the JJP has released the names of 72 candidates.
It is yet to name Naina Chautala, who is likely to contest from Dabwali. Younger brother of Dushyant, Digvijay Chautala, could contest from Jind.
The fourth list comprises two former MLAs — Arjun Singh from Jagadhri and Ishwar Palaka from Shahbad.
Others in the list included Gurpal Singh Majra from Ambala Cantonment, Dr Santosh Dahiya from Ladwa, Randhir Malik from Ganaur, Bhupender Malik from Baroda, Rahul Makkar from Hansi and Islamuddin from Badkhal.
In the earlier lists, the party had announced the names of former minister Satpal Sangwan from Charkhi Dadri, former MLA Satvinder Rana from Kalayat and former MP Ishwar Singh form Guhla Cheeka (SC).
From Kaithal, the party has fielded Ramphal Khurana against Randeep Surjewala, who is in-charge Communications of the Congress, and Dr Sandeep Hooda against former Congress CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda from Garhi-Sampla Kiloi.
