Sonia dissolves Himachal Cong units, but Rathore to remain state chief

Janjivan Bureau / New Delhi : Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday dissolved the entire Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee as well district and block units, paving the way for a comprehensive revamp.

All India Congress Committee general secretary organisation KC Venugopal said that the Himachal state Congress chief will remain unchanged but new committees will soon be set up.
Kuldeep Rathore was appointed Himachal Congress chief last year, replacing Sukhwinder Sukhu.
