Janjivan Bureau / New Delhi : On the occasion of Bihar Day celebration at the 39th India International Trade Fair, Shyam Rajak, Industry Minister , Department of Industry, Government of Bihar said the objective of the Nitish Kumar government is to free every person of the state from poverty and scarcity and to provide better employment opportunities to the young state with 65 percent youth population. Rajaka inaugurated the Bihar Pavilion and addressed to the media in a press conference on Bihar Day. Narmadeshwer Lal, Secretary, Industry Govt. of Bihar, Pankaj Kumar singh, Director Industry, Ashok Kumar Sinha, Director, Upendra Maharathi Shilp anusandhan Sansthan (UMSAS) Shri Lokesh Kumar Jha, Assistant Director Bihar Information centre and other officers from BIADA also present on this occasion . On Bihar day, a Cultural evening was organized at Hansdhwani Theater , Pragati Maidan in which singers of traditional folk music and songs of Bihar made the cultural evening of Bihar Day memorable by their performance. While Usha Kumari and Neetu Kumari won the hearts of the people with their singing, folk dance of the group of Satendra Kumar and Amar Anand fascinated the people.
Shyam Rajak said the objective of the Bihar government is to free every person of the state from poverty and scarcity and to provide better employment opportunities to the young state with 65 percent youth population. Therefore our government has introduced several schemes including Industrial Policy 2016 Bihar Startup Policy 2017. Entrepreneurs with new thinking and new ideas are coming together with the policies of the Department of Industries, which is leading Bihar to become India’s biggest economy in terms of industrial prospects.
Rajak said that today Bihar has come in the category of leading states in terms of transportation, Road and power availability, due to which the investors who cut the investment due to the inconvenience of electricity , Road and transpotation here are showing great enthusiasm to invest in Bihar today and investing very fast and without any fear.
In The 39th trade fair at Pragati Maidan from 14th to 27th November, Bihar pavilion is focus state and pavilion has dedicated its theme according to the ITPO “Ease of Doing Business” at hall No.12, Pragati Maidan in Delhi . Upendra Maharathi Shilp Anusandhan Sansthan, Patna (UMSAS) has been appointed by Department of Industry Govt. of Bihar as an Implementing Agency for decorating Bihar Pavilion in IITF 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Main attraction of Bihar Pavilion is pavilion is decorated by hand painting Bihar’s four major arts and painting – Madhubani Painting, Manjusha Painting and tikuli art and for this decoration by hand painting , all the artist are came specially from Bihar for . The pavilion’s main entrance and exquisite panoramic views of the various departments also attracted the visitors and tourists visit Bihar Pavilion. Event Manager Mod Interior has been appointed for the decoration of the Bihar Pavilion, to decorate the Bihar Pavilion in accordance with the theme of the fair.
The center of attraction of Bihar Pavilion is live demonstration of Bihar’s four shilp – terracotta, Tikuli art, siki art and Stone craft by state award winner artist under the guideline of Upendra Maharathi Shilp Anusandhan Sansthan in Bihar pavilion under an unique seven Nishchay tree made be state award winner artist in the centre of Bihar Pavilion . Terracotta live demo by Nitu Sinha from Patna , Tikuli art live demo by Sabina Imam, Siki art live demo by Munni devi from Raiyam Madhubani and Stone craft live demo by santosh Gupta from Kaimoor attracted all the visitors who visited in Bihar Pavilion .
there are 16 stalls of handloom and handicraft in Bihar pavilion, 8 stall of handicraft and 8 of handloom. On this stall , Bihar’s famous and traditional handloom and handicrafts like Bawanbooti of Nalanda , Madhubani Paintings of Mithila, Bhagalpuri Shilk , Tikuli arts from patna and many more are available for exhibition and sale . There is two dedicated food stall of Bihar’s mouth watering bihari cousin like litti chokha and others at food court allotted by ITPO in 39th IITF
