New Delhi: The Congress Party on Wednesday dismissed reports that the Party Vice President Rahul Gandhi will not be sharing the dais with Rashtriya Janata Dal (United) chief Lalu Prasad during the campaign for upcoming Bihar assembly elections.
Party spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi said it is a grand alliance and all the partners will fight unitedly. He added that Congress President Sonia Gandhi had shared the stage with RJD Chief recently and question does not arise of Rahul Gandhi not doing so.
Sonia used Sunday’s Swabhimaan Rally at the Gandhi Maidan to say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government have done nothing except drama during the first quarter of their tenure.
“The Modi Government has completed one fourth of its tenure, but they have done nothing except drama in this period. There has been a huge decrease in development schemes for children and women,” Sonia said at the rally.
