Janjivan Bureau / NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed Centre and state governments to finish the process of transporting migrant workers who want to go back to their native place within 15 days. Formulate employment schemes after conducting their skill mapping to rehabilitate them. The matter has been fixed for fufurther hearing on July 8.
SC orders withdrawal of all police complaints against migrant workers who have been booked for violating lockdown norms while attempting to get back home from their work places.
Supreme Court has asked all the states to submit their detailed affidavits on schemes, job creation etc. and has fixed the matter for further hearing on July 8.
