New Delhi: Hours after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sacked Asim Ahmed Khan from his cabinet following allegations of corruption, the latter said that it was a conspiracy against him by the opposition.
“It is a very big conspiracy against me and I will present infront of the media by tomorrow evening everything in detail,” Khan told media here.
“My party asked for my resignation, since the investigation is going on. Our party has a clean image and takes action against anyone who has allegations against them,” he added.
Kejriwal on Friday sacked Delhi Food and Civil Supplies Minister from his Cabinet on charges of corruption. Ballimaran MLA Imran Hussain will replace Khan.
The ruling AAP Government in Delhi has referred Ahmed’s case to the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI).
