Janjivan Bureau / Guwahati : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra would benefit from what Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is doing as it is getting publicity.
Addressing a press conference, Gandhi said the Nyay Yatra had become the main issue in Assam.
He said stopping him from visiting a temple and university and preventing the ‘padyatra’ were intimidation tactics and that they would not get intimidated.
Gandhi said five pillars of justice would give strength to the country — participation, justice for youth, labourers, women and farmers.
Gandhi said, “We have invited INDIA parties to join the yatra; we will feel good if our partners join us.”
When asked about the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, he said, “It’s the BJP’s political programme; we have clarity about our pillars of justice.”
Gandhi said, “On the one side, there is Narendra Modi-RSS, on the other there is INDIA bloc, which is an ideology.”
